The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) issued a statement on 30th March clarifying that there would be no revision in the property tax rates.
As there were reports in the last few weeks that the Palike might hike property tax by as much as 10%. Property owners paying tax for the whole year in one instalment by April 30 can also avail a 5% discount.
